Choosing your filter

A few things to know before you pick your next look.

Effect filter or light-control filter?

Creative effect filters change the look of light and shapes. A variable ND filter controls exposure; a CPL helps manage reflections. Choose the product for the result you want.

Will every filter work with my lens?

Check your lens’s filter-thread diameter and the mounting requirements on the product page. Camera brand alone does not determine compatibility.

Can I stack filters?

Check the mounting system and test your setup. Stacking filters can affect image edges and introduce vignetting, especially with wide-angle lenses.

How should I compare creative effects?

Compare the same scene, framing and light source. Change the filter angle and inspect the result in-camera. Product photographs are examples; results depend on your scene and lighting.

  • If a product is seized and destroyed by the customs, or returned to the USA, we will NOT be responsible for the losses, product, or shipping refunds.
